AFRS was honored to assist the Clermont County Sherriff's office and regional fire crews with a unique call that required air based search/rescue drones with thermal imaging.
AFRS Incident notes:
19:30 - AFRS received notification that drones were needed in the region.
20:00 - AFRS pilot arrived on scene and teamed up with the Clermont County Sheriff's Office who already had two thermal imaging drones in the air.
21:00 - Departed area.
Shortly after arrival, AFRS licensed pilots teamed up with the drone team from the Clermont County Sheriff's Office. After a quick briefing regarding airspace safety and search areas, each pilot executed the mission with amazing efficiency.
Since these teams have worked together in the past - The seamless integration of licensed pilots and skillsets complimented the community.
This is another great example of teams from different disciplines working together to complete the mission.
