AFRS was honored to assist the State of Ohio Highway Patrol and other peace officer agencies with emergency robotic response.
AFRS Incident Notes:
04:11 - AFRS received OSP request to assist with locating a suspect who fled from a vehicle.
04:12 - AFRS confirms weather conditions and provides ETA of 12 minutes to scene.
04:13 - AFRS notifies air traffic control due to controlled airspace restrictions.
04:22 - AFRS on scene.
04:24 - Flight info filed and in the air with thermal imaging.
04:40 - Police drone arrives on scene and pilots coordinate airspace.
05:33 - Search concluded.
06:00 - Air traffic control notified that flights have concluded.
This is another great example of teams complimenting each other in the field to complete the mission.
